Carmine Battafarano Named President of HMI Technical Solutions, LLC January 1, 2016 HMI Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Carmine Battafarano to President of HMI Technical Solutions, LLC, effective January 2016. Mr. Battafarano joined Henkels & McCoy, a subsidiary of HMI Services’ parent company, Henkels & McCoy Group, as Vice President of Corporate Development in 2013 where he led strategic planning for the company. Prior to joining Henkels & McCoy in 2013, Mr. Battafarano served as the Chief Marketing Officer for a global utilities engineering firm and the Senior Vice President of their international Operations & Maintenance business unit. He brings a unique perspective to Henkels & McCoy, having previously practiced environmental/energy law and served as a power plant manager and an asset manager for a national energy company. Mr. Battafarano holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New York Law School, and a Mergers & Acquisition Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Executive Program. He is a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey, a Certified Energy Manager, a licensed state of New Jersey Stationary Chief Engineer, and licensed U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Chief Engineer.
